FOUNDING PRESIDENT, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Rev.  Sheila Curry-Bryan is a native resident of New Jersey in the USA born as the first child of four children to parents who believed doing one’s best to get a good education along with Bible reading are the foundational requirements for a successful life. She graduated from John P. Stevens High School in New Jersey and magna cum laude from Fisk University after completing research training at Yale University.  She engaged in student doctor medical missions work in Jamaica, West Indies, graduated from the University of Florida College of Medicine, completed training in Newark, NJ as one of the first Chief Residents of the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency program, and has served as the Chief Medical Officer over 300 employees for a 7 site corporation of federally funded community health centers.  She is the founder of the intercessory prayer group New Jersey Nightwatch along with Health and Wholeness Ministries – the two initial divisions of HIS Global Watchmen Family of Ministries. She is a graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary who exercises facets of her hands-on 2008 KU School of Ministry training as an ordained clergy member while she continues to live walking by faith in Yahweh/God and HIS Word and not by sight.

 

 

VICE-PRESIDENT OF EXECUTIVE AFFAIRS, CLERGY LIASON

Pastor Miranda Townsend is a Spirit-filled believer who was a lifelong native resident of Alabama (AL) until her “inner city missionary call” to move to Rahway, New Jersey (NJ) in June 2012. In AL, she founded and pastored Oil of Joy Ministries for 11 years, locally hosted the television broadcast called “Restoration” and the radio broadcast called “This Is Your Day” in addition to preaching on the Trinity Broadcasting Network in Montgomery, AL.  In NJ she founded Sistah to Sistah Women’s Outreach Ministry, is a member of the Missionary Union, is a board member of Prophet Carla Palin’s Global Life Ministries, and continues growing her ministry—Gamechangers Ministries International. She is an alumna of Princeton Theological Seminary.


 

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER - TREASURER

Norlyn McBean at 16 years of age was baptized as a true believer in Jesus Christ in Jamaica, West Indies where her faith and love grew while attending Grace Tabernacle Church Of God. This valedictorian graduated from Muschette Comprehensive High School after being the 9th and 10th-grade Prefect and the 12th grade Deputy Head Girl. Norlyn then migrated to the United States where she obtained a Business Administration Associate Degree from Middlesex County College and an accounting Bachelor of Arts degree from Montclair State University since her goal is to be a Certified Public Accountant. After personally experiencing Jesus’ overwhelming grace, Norlyn joined First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens where she served as a mathematics tutor and is a faithful Wednesday night prayer warrior. Additionally, she helps provide home-cooked meals to shelter-housed women and children via the Friends of Ozanam in Edison, NJ. Norlyn uses her career skills, faith, and prayer to build up the Kingdom of GOD. 



 

BLOG WRITER

Stephanie Torrey has been a dedicated, servant leader for the Lord for almost 20 years. This married mother of two adult children that has a Business Management Bachelor of Arts degree works as a Medication Adherence Care Navigator Team Lead for a healthcare technology corporation and uses her leisure time to enjoy gourmet cooking, delving deeply into the Bible, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends.  She serves as an ordained Minister and leader at The HOPE (House of Prayer & Encouragement) in Cranford, NJ under the leadership of Pastor Marc S. Bryant. Stephanie discovered in 2018 that writing was the ministry God has given her to encourage others. Her devotional blog Speaking Truth In Love (www.speakingtruthinlov.com) offers encouragement that focuses on faith, truth, and love. Her passion is to encourage and wake up the Body of Christ in these tumultuous times, to the relevance of God in our everyday life through the truth found in Scripture.

FOUNDING BOARD OF DIRECTOR MEMBERS FOR NIGHTWATCH:

Lillian Calloway was born in Fort Collins, Colorado but left with her parents to return back to their home country of Nigeria in 1974 where she eventually graduated from the University of Nigeria. While in college, this now Spirit-filled believer received Christ as her Lord and Savior and in time moved back to the United States. She became a member of Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center (FFMWOC) where she met and married her husband, George. She volunteered in the FFMWOC Children’s Ministry for 15 years before becoming the Co-Director of the Children’s Ministry at New Covenant Church (NCC) in Plainfield, NJ. Lillian started the NCC women’s prayer ministry “Sisters in Prayer for our Kids” and she teaches the teenagers the life skills of a godly character along with money stewardship. She is still supportive of Nightwatch.

 

Cynthia Cardona is a native Filipina who was raised in Manilla as the eldest of 3 children. She is blessed with four now adult children from her first marital union that grew to include 4 grandchildren born to her three married sons. She graduated from St. Paul College with a degree in Restaurant Management which enabled her to obtain the income needed to raise her children when she found herself being a single parent. As her children matriculated and graduated from college, Cynthia went on to a traveling career as an international insurance policy salesperson and finally migrated to New Jersey where she met and married her “Boaz” husband, Gerry. Now as a born-again and Spirit-filled Christian, Cynthia regularly attends church as she accompanies her elderly client. Cynthia believes caring for the elderly is the ministry that enables her to make a great impact on their lives. She was supportive of Nightwatch and is still active in the Ministry of Helps for HGWFOM.
